Koi no Tsubomi (恋のつぼみ; Bud of Love) is the thirty-first single by Koda Kumi released on 24th May 2006. It was her first single after her ~12 Weeks Project~ and includes the title track 'Koi no Tsubomi' which was used as the main theme song of 'Busu no Hitomi ni Koishiteru' starring Goro Inagaki from SMAP and it was also used as the image song of the Japan version of the movie Cars. The single has no B-side but comes with a remix of the title track. 'Koi no Tsubomi' is released in CD and CD+DVD versions.

Koi no Tsubomi debuted at #2 weekly, selling 140,269 copies in its first week, making it the highest first week sales for a female artist in 2006 at the time. It was released one day before its release as a digital download and sold 1,000,000 downloads.

Koi no Tsubomi is certified Platinum by RIAJ for shipment of 250,000 copies.
